Where are you located?

We are currently located at 1887 Queen Street East in the Beaches.

What are your store hours?

We are open 7 days a week from 11-7pm. If you would like to come before or after the posted store hours please give us at call at 647-349-1009 and will accommodate you.

What do you sell at The Purple Thumb?

At The Purple Thumb we sell locally made & ethically produced products. Please view the "Designers" page to view all of our current Designers.

What does ethically produced mean?

Ethically produced means that the product is made without work labor, the artisans where paid fairly and good working conditions. All ethically produced products at The Purple Thumb are brought over from local people that bought the product from the artisan in their country. At The Purple Thumb we currently have ethically produced products from Peru & Columbia.

What kind of local designers do you have?

We have jewelry, clothing, baby items, bags, bath products, dog clothes and many more.

I am a designer how can I get my products into The Purple Thumb?

At The Purple Thumb we rent shelving units, clothing racks and jewelry cases to designers. Please visit the "Renting Space" page for more information.

What is your Vendor Referral Program?

For every vendor that you refer to us and signs up for at least 4 months and rents a full space will be credited $50. To be eligible for the "Vendor Referral Program" you must be a current vendor at The Purple Thumb.


Do you have a space where I can teach a class or have a private function?

Yes, we have an approx 500 sq ft newly renovated private space where you can rent out by the hour/day/week. This space is fully furnished and has a small kitchen, a fitting room, a large mirror, TV and a restroom.  Please contact us if you wish to rent this space.
