Bazant Unique Adornments... Lara Bazant has been collecting rare materials and transforming them into wearable art for more than fifteen years. Bazant Unique Adornments provides ethical and eco-friendly jewelry alternatives, and inspires individualism through creativity and culture. Lara travels across the globe to source fair trade, recyclable and sustainable materials, then returns to her Toronto studio where she designs and fabricates sterling silver creations that incorporate her many finds. With the intuitive combination of uncommon materials, each necklace, earring, bracelet and ring comes alive with its own unique story and theme. The pieces allow the wearer to experience a bit of history while expressing individual style.
Lara's one-of-a-kind and limited edition designs were born out of her experiences as a teenager living in Pakistan. Brought there during the Gulf War by her father who was involved with the United Nations, Bazant began going to the traditional Friday markets and fell in love with what she saw. Her fascinations with third world craftsmanship lead to the process of collecting materials directly from the source. As a result, each piece promotes a fair wage for artisans worldwide.

Fabric is sourced locally in smaller quantities. With an effort to become more eco-conscious, bamboo fabric is now a permanent addition to the line. Bamboo is much less taxing to the environment to produce than cotton, and its qualities are superior.

Jennifer Glasgow has created a precisely joyful collection of separates and dresses that encompass the attitude she aspires to in the season of new beginnings.
Inspired by the 1960’s, the decade of women’s burgeoning freedom, Jennifer explores their optimism through youthful colour and refined shapes. Bold hues and tones converge with feminine silhouettes. Inspired by that era but not restricted to it, Glasgow offers a more casual combination of form and colour. Soft draping, perfect pleating and curvaceous gathering are formidable friends through out this season.
Concentrating on the natural, Glasgow’s use of linen, organic cotton, bamboo and silk voile makes Spring 2010 integral to any woman’s wardrobe. That intoxicating feeling of fresh cotton and the beautiful drape of bamboo are woven into sumptuously designed pieces.
Blossoming optimism, a sense of joy in the world and the new decade upon us, make this collection primordial. Through nature friendly textiles and woman friendly designs, Glasgow serves us the blossoming excitement for the new era.

Inspired by ancient patterns from the royal courts of Sri Lanka, Melisma creates intricate wire work designs in 18 carat gold, sterling silver and copper, embellished with fresh water pearls, gemstones, Swarovksi crystals and vintage beads.
Designer Aparna Halpé brings an eye for detail, and a command of the poetry of color and texture to her wire work. Using traditional and innovative wire work techniques, she creates pieces that nudge your imagination down the most delightful paths.
